Eddie Hall says he couldn’t catch Tommy Fury
Tommy Fury and Eddie Hall just went toe-to-toe in a fascinating contest that pitted a lifelong boxer against one of the most intimidating men on the planet.
Early in the fight, the 2017 World’s Strongest Man chased his rival around the ring and looked to land humongous shots, which, to his credit, he did. However, those concussive blows were too few in number to make a real impact.
Fury, the more skilled operator, was able to find a home for his jabs and hooks, ultimately landing the higher-quality blows, en route to winning on points.
Following the contest, an honest Hall opened up about the reason he believes he lost the contest.
During his post-fight interview, the powerhouse said simply: “I couldn’t catch him.”
