From the first bell, Jack Cullen looked to use his superior range, firing in flashy jabs. However, David Mundell was never going to play that game, with the American instantly charging in for the clinch, where he ate a monstrous combination for his troubles.

However, in the second segment, the Florida brawler began to assert his dominance, scoring a heavy knockdown with a powerful left hook.

In a testament to his fighting heart, Cullen returned to his feet, surviving the rest of the round.

By the third, the warriors were trading bombs, with both men left covered in blood after each having had to absorb powerful blows. In the following round, the two men continued from where they left off, while Cullen landed snappy punches; Mundell had his own moments, connecting with eye-catching shots.

However, much to the delight of the crowd, the MC announced that BKFC doesn’t do draws in championship fights, resulting in one last dramatic tie-breaking round, in which both competitors had to absorb almighty shots as they battled for the victory.

With the crowd on their feet, the Englishman was awarded a split-decision victory to become BKFC middleweight world champion.
