Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign an Argentina star.
The player, who scaled the footballing mountain by winning the FIFA World Cup 2022, looks set to start a new chapter of his career at the Etihad.
Manchester City agree deal to sign Geronimo Rulli
A decade since his first stint with Manchester City, Geronimo Rulli is coming back to the Premier League giants as a replacement for James Trafford, who has just completed a £45 million move to Elland Road to play for Leeds United.
The Athletic have reported that a fee of €2 million (£1,713,500) has been agreed with Marseille.
The shotstopper signed for City back in 2016 from Deportivo Maldonado. However, he never had the opportunity to make a first-team appearance before signing for Real Sociedad, which is now something he’ll have an opportunity to rectify.
The club views the 34-year-old as a cheap replacement with bags of experience, who can step up if necessary and who possesses the requisite build-up qualities required for their system.
