Manchester United have been working tirelessly on reinvigorating its midfield, signing Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa. And the job still isn’t quite done yet.

With Casemiro having left the Premier League giants and Manuel Ugarte out for the foreseeable future with knee ligament damage, the team is still on the hunt for new players, with Eduardo Camavinga being the main target.

According to The Guardian, the 23-year-old would like to remain at the Bernabéu. However, the Spanish side is supposedly open to letting their man go in order to potentially make room for Rodri.

The Frenchman has a staggering €1bn release clause. But his team would hear out offers ranging from €50m-€60m (£42m-£51m).

However, if the deal can’t come to fruition, United will turn its attention to Sander Berge. The Fulham midfielder, who played for Norway during the underdog’s dramatic defeat to England at the FIFA World Cup 2026, would cost approximately £40 million.
