Manchester United has its sights set on a talented Spanish player.
While Barcelona have shown an interest in the left-back, it appears the Premier League side could pull the rug from beneath their feet.
Manchester United wants to sign Jorge Salinas
Manchester United have fresh hopes of signing Racing Santander star Jorge Salinas.
Earlier this week, reports emerged that scouts of the club were incredibly impressed by the performances the gifted athlete produced at the Under-19 European Championship.
The defender, renowned for his versatility still has three years left to go on his current contract, and has drawn interest from Barcelona.

Knowing that eyeballs from two of the most famous teams on the planet are firmly on his player, Racing sporting director, Chema Aragon, confirmed that his man can leave the Campos de Sport de El Sardinero if his release clause of €16 million (£13.7m) is triggered.
According to The Standard, the Spaniard explained: “He has a contract with us, as you know. So, if they don’t bring the release clause, you know what’s going to happen.”
United is reportedly happy to pay the requisite amount to secure Salinas’ services. However, the 19-year-old would prefer to make the move to the Nou Camp.
But despite this, Spanish outlet, SPORT, claims that while Barcelona do want to make the signing, they are unwilling to pay the asking price, opening the door for Manchester United to swoop
