Bayern Munich have identified Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White as a potential replacement for Michael Olise, according to CF Bayern Insider. The development comes as the German giants continue to reshape their squad under the guidance of Max Eberl.
The report from Christian Falk suggests that Gibbs-White is now being considered for a move to the Allianz Arena. This interest follows the departure of Michael Olise, with the club viewing the Englishman as a viable candidate to fill the void in their attacking midfield ranks. While specific fee discussions for Gibbs-White have not been detailed in the latest update, the club’s recruitment strategy remains active following a busy summer period.
In addition to the interest in Gibbs-White, Bayern have been linked with Manchester City midfielder Rodri. However, according to Bavarian Football Works, the Spaniard is reportedly considering offers from both Real Madrid and FC Barcelona instead. Further reports from Christian Falk, via Live4Liverpool, suggest Bayern may also lose out on a separate £145m target to Liverpool.
The Bavarian club has already seen movement in their defensive and youth departments. According to CF Bayern Insider, the club decided against a move for Feyenoord full-back Givairo Read, opting instead for Nathaniel Brown. Meanwhile, former Bayern winger Nestory Irankunda has completed a move from Watford to Sporting CP, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano, which will see Bayern benefit financially from the deal.
