Marcus Rashford was left gutted when Ruben Amorim got the better of him during AC Milan vs Manchester United.

The Serie A giants overcame the Premier League side 4-2 at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland.

While the showdown between AC Milan and Manchester United was only a pre-season friendly, the reunion between Marcus Rashford and Ruben Amorim undeniably provided a spicy undertone.

The game started brilliantly for the English side, with Harry Maguire bagging a tremendous header after just two minutes. But they didn’t have the ascendancy for long, with Samuel Chukwueze putting the ball in the back of the net for the equaliser.

Shortly after, Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty for Manchester United, with the first half finishing 1-1.

Early in the second segment, Patrick Dorgu punished an awful piece of defending from Filippo Terracciano to restore his side’s lead.

However, at this point, everything collapsed. While he didn’t start the match, Rashford had to watch in horror, as an AC Milan team, guided by Amorim, worked its way back into the clash, eventually winning the fixture 4-2, leaving the English striker nothing short of gutted.

Of course today’s match won’t be one that Rashford looks back on fondly.

However, the boost to his bank balance will likely soften the blow.
