Semi Ajayi smashed the ball into the back of the net to give Hull the lead against Manchester United.

The underdogs took the lead against the Premier League giants in a shocking twist.

Having been promoted from the Championship last season via the play-offs, Hull were given little chance of upsetting the odds against Manchester United.

However, with determination in abundance, the Yorkshire side has proven that they’re more than up for the challenge.

From the first whistle, it was evident that Hull meant business, with the side putting a lot of pressure on the favourites.

And in the 17th minute, they found the breakthrough. Chaos ensued from a corner, when Oli McBurnie came agonisingly close to scoring, only to be denied by Senne Lammens.

Luckily for Hull, Semi Ajayi was in the perfect position to pounce on the save, connecting on the ball with thunderous power to send it hurtling past the goalkeeper.

To make matters worse, Nobel Mendy later doubled Hull’s lead.

Of course, after going 2-0 down, the Premier League giants want to hit back.

Therefore, they could do with Marcus Rashford.

However, the Englishman hasn’t started the match.
