Steve Austin is undeniably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, so it’s no surprise that his net worth is so massive.
The charismatic superstar captivated the WWE Universe with his manly attitude and enthusiasm for a good old fashioned can of beer. But his ability in the ring extended far beyond his popular gimmicks. ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ picked up six world titles during his illustrious career and defined the Attitude Era with his epic rivalries.
Alongside The Rock, Austin transcended the sport forever. Their long-running feud engaged the WWE Universe in a way no other two men have or ever will again. Despite their hatred for one another, they clearly shared in-ring chemistry, as they headlined WrestleMania on three separate occasions. Austin won two of those bouts.
However, their final contest was set to be the Texan’s last ever match. He had to retire after his neck issues worsened.
However, on April 3, Austin came out of retirement for one final match – 19 years after his last. He accepted Kevin Owens’s challenge for an impromptu WrestleMania 38 main event clash. In a match that lasted over 13 minutes, 57-year-old Austin put in an incredible display to secure the victory.
In the 19 years between his final matches, other doors opened for ‘Stone Cold’. He passed through them with open arms.

‘Stone Cold’ hits the big screen
The popular wrestler utilised his performance skills in the ring and transferred them into the world of film. He starred in several motion pictures before starting his career as a television host.
The sporting icon presented several popular shows, including ‘Redneck Island’ and ‘Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge’. He also released a beer in 2019. We suppose that was always bound to happen eventually.
But now it seems that he’s really found his niche as an interviewer.
‘The Steve Austin Broken Skull Sessions’ has become one of the most popular pieces of wrestling content on the planet. The 57-year-old sits down for surprisingly eye-opening episodes with the likes of Randy Orton and The Undertaker, where he uncovers new sides to some of the most dangerous men on Earth.
There’s no denying that he’s had an awe-inspiring career in multiple different industries, and with that level of success comes a lot of money.
How big a net worth has Steve Austin made?
According to Celebrity Net Worth, the famous wrestler has accumulated a whopping $30 million throughout his career. But according to Sportskeeda, only $5-$12 million of that came from wrestling.
That is a fantastic example of one thing. If you create a significant enough profile in the WWE, you can capitalise on that brand recognition to make an absolute fortune when your time in the ring comes to an end.
Austin’s profile was emphasised by the incredible reception he received from the Dallas crowd at WrestleMania 38. WWE fans know that now is likely the end for ‘Stone Cold’ and his in-ring career – but this time, he did it on his terms.
