On Saturday night, the rapper swung for the fences en route to being stopped due to injury.

Jordan McCann gave it his all against Big Stacks, but it was nowhere near enough.

In the opening round, it became clear that the difference in athleticism was vast, with the rapper left in a state of disarray every single time a jab detonated on his head.

However, in a testament to his fighting heart, McCann kept on throwing away, with some of his shots seemingly wobbling his opponent.

In the second round, the Salfordian continued trying to make headway in the fight, but his rival was ultimately too much. Big Stacks left McCann with a horrifying eye injury, forcing the referee to call a halt to the action.

While failing in his quest for victory left the Northerner deeply upset, the massive boost to his bank balance likely softened the blow.

In a video uploaded to social media, he said: “Listen, big up Misfits. It’s not just about the money, but I did get £150,000, so I can help my family. I can’t fight; I go on these interviews and say that.

“Listen, I’m not a boxer; that’s a real boxer there, my cousin Dennis McCann, gonna be the best in the world. But this is what happens; you sell yourself, but you can’t play boxing. Look at my face, respect to Big Stacks; he done his job. Respect to his coaches and his team. I apologise to my coach; I should take these camps seriously. I got away with it the first time, but these ten-ounce gloves aren’t a game. God bless everyone.”

Big Stacks calls out Martyn Ford after victory against Jordan McCann

While Big Stacks celebrated the win, his focus rapidly switched to the future, with the powerhouse challenging a Mortal Kombat star to set foot inside the squared circle with him.

The crossover boxer exclaimed: “I want Martyn Ford — the big doughnut. He keeps commenting. I want him. Yeah, he’s big, but I want to smash his head in. He’s got a small head.”
