Triple H net worth: How much money has ‘The Game’ earned in wrestling?

Triple H is one of the most successful and well-known names in professional wrestling history. But what is his current net worth?

‘The Game’ has entertained wrestling fans for 30 years, through in-ring and backstage roles. Currently the head of WWE creative and Executive Vice-President, Talent Relations, Triple H is undoubtedly one of the greatest all-around wrestlers of all time.

The 52-year-old is in his 28th year as part of WWE, and he has achieved plenty in that time.

Triple H WWE career: What has ‘The Game’ achieved?

Triple H made his debut in the WWF in 1995, under the ring name Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Although he no longer officially uses this full version of his ring name, he is still commonly referred to as ‘Hunter’ by other Superstars and some fans.

He won his first WWF title in 1997, capturing the Intercontinental Championship. He then won the King of the Ring tournament later that year.

After his ring name was changed to Triple H, ‘The Game’ became one of the key players in the Attitude Era. He formed D-Generation-X alongside Shawn Michaels, Chyna and Rick Rude. However, Rude’s participation was short-lived, as he left the company in November 1997.

Triple H won his first WWF Championship in 1999, and had won it three times by the end of 2000. After suffering a severe quadriceps injury, he returned to action in 2002, winning the World Heavyweight Championship.

By this point, ‘The Game’ had established himself fully as a top star. Triple H and Ric Flair established the Evolution stable, with Randy Orton and Batista later joining. He would have a memorable rivalry with former DX team-mate Michaels in 2004, and went on to have feuds with the likes of John Cena, Batista and Flair.

In 2011 and 2012, Triple H wrestled two memorable WrestleMania matches against The Undertaker, even though he lost on both occasions.

He would then transition into an authority role, and wrestled on fewer occasions. Alongside his wife, Stephanie McMahon, he was a figurehead in ‘The Authority’ storyline that dominated WWE in the early to mid-2010s.

His final official match came at WrestleMania 35, where he defeated Batista in a No Holds Barred match. Overall, ‘The Game’ won 24 titles during his time with WWE. He is also a Grand Slam and Triple Crown Champion.

What is Triple H doing now?

Unfortunately, Triple H was forced to retire as an active in-ring performer earlier this year, due to a health scare that occurred in 2021.

‘The Game’ suffered what was described as a ‘cardiac event’. The true extent of his health issues were not disclosed for many months, although Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that it was “very, very, very serious“.

Speaking to Stephen A Smith of ESPN, Triple H confirmed that he had been fitted with a pacemaker, ending his long and distinguished wrestling career.

Now, Triple H is the head of WWE creative, following the resignation of Vince McMahon in July. He has already had a significant impact. ‘The Game’ has given renewed pushes to the likes of Ciampa, Kevin Owens and Iyo Sky, and brought back Dakota Kai, Johnny Gargano, Karrion Kross, Scarlett and more.

He has also unbanned several words that WWE stars were not allowed to say on-air. In addition, he has given matches more time and built up to the Clash at the Castle premium live event.

What is the net worth of Triple H?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Triple H has accumulated a net worth of an astonishing $150 million during his career in wrestling.

Despite not featuring as an active performer anymore, ‘The Game’ still earns plenty of money through his executive roles. In a 2020 report by WrestlingInc, Triple H was slated to earn $730,000 over the year, excluding bonuses and his additional fee as an on-screen talent. His wife, Stephanie, earned the same amount in that year.

Furthermore, in 2022, WrestlingInc claimed that the 52-year-old once again earned a base salary of $730,000 in 2021. He also earned considerably more on top of that, and also received $2,841,544 in 2021 as full compensation. Over $1 million of this, the report claims, was from his contract as an on-air talent.

It is fair to say that Triple H has done exceptionally well for himself throughout his time in WWE. With ‘The Game’ now steering the WWE creative ship, fans are excited about how he can shape the company going forwards.
