Vinicius Jr dazzles fans with another insane piece of skill for Real Madrid

Real Madrid starlet Vinicius Junior put on yet another excellent display during his side’s 2-0 win over Real Sociedad in La Liga on Saturday.

The Brazilian scored the game’s opening goal on 47 minutes – his 12th goal of the season so far in all competitions.

He also produced an outrageous piece of skill in the first half that left fans in awe.

Vinicius Jr completes insane skill move

With the scores still at 0-0, Vinicius positioned himself on the left flank with his back to goal.

From there, he received the ball and audaciously performed a chop. He flicked the ball between the legs of the onrushing Mikel Oyarzabal, and sprinted forwards to carry the ball towards the goal.

The move took Oyarzabal out of the particular section of play immediately. It was an incredible piece of skill.

How did Vinicius change the game?

Vinicius’s goal, which he scored on 47 minutes, gave Real Madrid a vital breakthrough at the beginning of the second half.

They had tested Sociedad goalkeeper Alex Remiro on four occasions during the first 45 minutes, but the Spaniard was equal to every effort.

He could not, however, keep out the shot from Vinicius. The 21-year-old showed quick feet to beat two Sociedad defenders. He then laid off the ball to Jovic, received it back from a superb flick and fired it into the bottom left corner.

The Brazilian has been in superb form. He went into the game a week after scoring an incredible goal for Real in their victory over Sevilla.

With the scores locked at 1-1, the Brazilian maestro charged towards the penalty area after cutting in from the left flank, before arrowing a right-footed effort straight into the top corner.

How impressive has Vinicius Jr been this season?

Vinicius is having somewhat of a breakthrough season for Real Madrid. He has fully established himself as a first-team starter and is one of their key players.

One of the Brazilian’s finest moments came in the Champions League. He netted a brace in a comprehensive 5-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in October.

And after the victory over Sevilla last month, he was praised by Real manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti said (quotes via Marca): “He is extraordinary. He is a player who has something special about his feet and his physique.”

“What surprises me about Vini is the quality he has in scoring that goal. His quality in one-on-one situations is very strong, but what is surprising is the quality of his goals.”

“He’s shown quality, but it’s one more step to be one of the best in the world.”
