Going into the contest tonight, Kristian Prenga was given absolutely no chance whatsoever of defeating Anthony Joshua. However, you wouldn’t have known it, as the Albanian came out like a steam train from the first bell.

Just twenty seconds in, the underdog detonated an explosive uppercut to send ‘AJ’ falling towards the canvas, in a moment that left boxing fans stunned. An unsteady Joshua got back to his feet, but when another shot sent him tumbling over again, sporting enthusiasts began to fear that they were about to witness one of the biggest upsets that the world had ever seen.

Somehow, in a testament to his heart and desire, the Brit somehow survived, bouncing back in style in the second round. After piling on the pressure, the former world champion found a right hand for the ages, laying Prenga out.

While his best days are undeniably in the rearview mirror, the Englishman still carries power in abundance, and has likely just about saved the super fight with Tyson Fury.
