Anthony Joshua just survived an almighty scare against Kristian Prenga. Going into the battle tonight, the Albanian was given no chance whatsoever of pulling off the victory.
However, in what was almost one of the biggest upsets in boxing history, the underdog nearly pulled off the impossible.
Just 20 seconds into the contest, Prenga produced an almighty uppercut which sent his rival spiralling towards the canvas.
In the very same round, he scored a second knockdown, leaving fans in a state of complete and utter shock, wondering if they were really about to see ‘AJ’ get taken out again.
But in a testament to his ferocious fighting heart, the Brit battled back from the brink, finding a thunderous right hand to leave Prenga out for the count.

Of course, after the action concluded, attention quickly turned to ‘The Gypsy King’
During his post-fight interview on DAZN, Joshua asked: “Have we got Tyson Fury in the room actually? To more important matters, is he here or not?”
Then, channelling his inner Mike Tyson, he issued this threat: “I’m gonna rip his heart out, I’m the meanest and most vicious champion there’s ever been. Nobody can stop me.”
Joshua added: “All jokes aside. There are two sides to this thing; one is as a fighter, you have to have that [aggressive side], but you have to have that respect. I respect everything he has done, and everything he has achieved, but as a fighter, and as someone who has been calling for this fight for a long time, we’re here now.”
