Josh Kelly warns Jaron Ennis about his style

Josh Kelly isn’t just a slick fighter, but a warrior with a willingness to battle through the trenches and emerge the victor. Tonight, Caoimhin Agyarko gave it his all, leaving the Sunderland boxer covered in blood and almost ripped the title off his waist.

However, Kelly held on, retaining the belt, before setting his sights on Jaron Ennis, who is to many the future of the sport.

WOW: Anthony Joshua issues ruthless message to Tyson Fury after getting knocked down by Kristian Prenga

In his post-fight interview with DAZN, the 32-year-old said: “I want it next. People will be smiling looking at that, saying, ‘Yeah, what’s he talking about’? Agyarko is a tricky night for anyone, rushing and diving in, heads, attacks, elbows, making it a rough fight. That’s an experience. I want the big names in the division. I’ve already taken out one big name in Bakhram Murtazaliev. Let me get the other ones. I’m here, I’m a champion, I’ve just defended.”

Later in the evening, DAZN asked him to give a message to his foe, whom he warned: “Styles make fights.”
