What was Anthony Joshua told by his coach in the corner after getting dropped by Kristian Prenga?

Anthony Joshua received lots of advice from his coach after the opening round, in which he was dropped twice by Kristian Prenga.

The trainer may have saved ‘AJ’ from suffering one of the most humiliating losses in boxing history.

Anthony Joshua was given clear instructions by his coach

Ahead of his fight with Kristian Prenga, Anthony Joshua was expected to win with ease, before waltzing into a contest with Tyson Fury. However, the challenge turned out to be anything but easy, with his opponent surprising everyone by almost springing the upset.

In the opening round, he detonated a monstrous uppercut to send the Brit tumbling towards the canvas. Still conscious, the warrior bravely got back to his feet. However, it was evident that he still wasn’t all there. Sensing this, Prenga pounced like a shark smelling blood in the water.

Shockingly, the underdog connected with another big shot, dropping his rival for the second time. With the wheels well and truly falling off, the bell came at exactly the right time, with Iegor Golub given the opportunity to talk some sense into his fighter.

He said: “AJ, first of all, you must move. Your hands must be closed. You must move and work the jab.”

His words must’ve sunk in, because Joshua was significantly better in the second round, lighting up Prenga before landing a monstrous right hand to close the show.

Anthony Joshua sent brutal message to Tyson Fury

While it looked gone for a moment, the mega fight between Joshua and Fury still appears to be on.

For years, the powerhouse and ‘The Gypsy King’ have gone back and forth, without ever having gotten their hands on one another during a professional bout.

With that in mind, following his win, Joshua gave a vicious warning to Fury.
