England could appeal Jarell Quansah red card in big plot twist ahead of Norway clash

England could make a major statement and appeal the red card given to Jarell Quansah during the clash with Mexico.

Jarell Quansah red card to potentially be appealed

England says they are ‘Considering’ all options regarding the Jarell Quansah situation. The talented player received his marching orders from the referee during his side’s clash with Mexico. Quansah went flying in with studs up in a moment that prompted the official to produce a red card.

Currently, the defender can not play on Saturday against Norway. However, things could potentially change. Donald Trump thanked FIFA for suspending Folarin Balogun’s ban after the US star was sent off for a challenge during his country’s clash with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

FIFA made the following statement: “By operation of Article 27 FDC, the implementation of the automatic match suspension for USA player Folarin Balogun is suspended for a probationary period of one [1] year.”

Now, England could appeal for similar treatment, with a spokesperson saying: “We are considering our options regarding any appeal following Jarell Quansah’s red card in Mexico City last night.”
