The US international could likely make an enormous splash at Goodison Park.

Folarin Balogun has certainly had an eventful summer. The talented player was at the centre of FIFA World Cup controversy when he was allowed to represent his country against Belgium in the Last 16 of the competition despite having previously received a red card against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And now, the drama has continued, with the striker securing a move to Everton right before the closure of the summer transfer window.

‘The Toffees’ have agreed a £40 million deal with Monaco to secure the services of the gifted athlete.

After coming through Arsenal’s youth system, Balogun signed for the Ligue 1 side, where he has scored 31 goals in 91 appearances.

In a testament to his tremendous skills, he received the accolade of being the club’s 2025/26 Player of the Year. However, it now looks like his chapter in the world’s second-smallest country has come to an end, with the 25-year-old set for another chance in the greatest league in the world.
