John McGinn booted an Arsenal defender in the face.
Tonight, Aston Villa succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against ‘The Gunners’.
John McGinn kicked Riccardo Calafiori in the face
John McGinn managed to boot Riccardo Calafiori in the face and emerge completely unscathed, with the referee opting not to give him a booking.
In a shocking turn of events in the first half, the Aston Villa star was in Arsenal’s box, where he was attempting to win the ball. However, in a testament to his positioning, Calafiori was on hand to prevent him from making any progress.
In a moment of madness, the pair both went in; McGinn with his foot and the Italian with his head. Consequently, the Scot struck his opponent in the face with a kick, sending Calafiori tumbling towards the floor.
The referee gave a free kick to the reigning Premier League champions.

Manchester United could lose huge star to Aston Villa
It’s fair to say the Midlands side looked considerably better against Arsenal than they did during the match with Brighton and Hove Albion.
However, it appears they still need to bolster the squad.
With that in mind, Aston Villa could sign a Manchester United star.
