Harry Kane is in the process of making a massive decision regarding his future.
While the Englishman has performed beautifully for Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur fans would love to see him back in London.
Harry Kane is close to signing a new Bayern Munich deal
Harry Kane is on the cusp of signing a new deal with Bayern Munich.
Last season, the natural-born goal scorer hit the back of the net a jaw-dropping 61 times for the reigning Bundesliga champions.
His form continued into the World Cup, with the England captain playing a pivotal role in guiding his country to the semi-final of the competition, where they were ultimately eliminated by Argentina.
Following the end of the tournament, attention quickly switched to where the striker would play his football next season.
With his contract set to come to an end next summer, Tottenham Hotspur supporters hoped he’d make an almighty return.
However, it now appears that his potential homecoming is extremely unlikely to come to fruition at the moment. The Times have reported that Kane will receive a new deal from Bayern Munich, keeping him at the club until 2029.
Will Harry Kane ever return to Tottenham Hotspur?
While Kane looks set to remain in Munich for now, the door isn’t entirely closed on a Premier League comeback at some stage.
TEAMtalk‘s Graeme Bailey, explained: “Bayern is prepared to offer Kane a three-year deal despite his age, with sources believing that such an agreement would still leave the door open for a return to the Premier League later in his career.
“Indeed, there is a feeling that even if Kane remains in Germany for another three years, he could still have a couple of seasons available to play in England before calling time on his career.”
