Ousmane Diomande joins Nottingham Forest in €40m deal

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Ousmane Diomande from Sporting CP for a fee of €40m, according to the official club website. The defender has signed a long-term contract at the City Ground until June 2030, with an option for a further year included in the agreement.

The deal represents a major investment for the Premier League side. Diomande arrives from the Portuguese giants to bolster Nuno Espirito Santo’s defensive options. The €40m transfer fee was corroborated by Fabrizio Romano. He confirmed the contract is valid for four years with a one-year extension option.
