While relying on an 18-year-old to do the same job as a former Ballon d’Or winner seems like a risky manoeuvre, the Moroccan’s performances in Ligue 1 have impressed fans, and consequently earned him a price tag of £85 million.

With the deal being finalised, Enzo Maresca wants to swiftly integrate the midfielder into the first team, with the manager expecting big things from the prospect.
