Nate Diaz could fight Gabe Rosado

While renowned for his brilliant Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Nate Diaz is adored by fans, for his ferocious stand-up, with the legend famed for battling through blood and brutal blows, before overwhelming his opponents under an unrelenting wave of pressure.

Now, Tetreault, who’s making a massive splash in the fight community by attracting an array of icons to BKB, would love nothing more than to set up a clash between Diaz and a fan favourite from the boxing world.

When asked during an exclusive interview with Sporf, if the MMA veteran could compete in the promotion, the combat sports aficionado replied: “Absolutely — we’d love to get him in the Trigon. I’ve been speaking to Gabe Rosado, and I’d love to see the two of them fight in the Trigon; that would be incredible. We’re trying to make that happen.”

David Tetreault reveals potential opponents for Rolando Dy after BKB 60

Tonight, Rolando Dy puts his super welterweight title on the line against Scott McHugh at BKB 60 inside the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, UK. And Tetreault can’t wait for the two men to clash.

He beamed: “This couldn’t be a more well-scripted main event. You have such skill from Rolando in the MMA space and his training in karate, taking on a true bare-knuckle fighter in Scott McHugh. I think it’s going to be fireworks, and you’re going to see two different skill sets square off in that Trigon. The better man will win this one, but it’s all about skill, and they bring two different disciplines to this. Scott is a bigger man than Rolando may think, and Rolando is a stronger man than Scott may think. It has all the makings of an unbelievable fight.”

And if the champion comes through the contest unscathed, there are an array of mouth-watering match-ups on the cards.

Tetreault explained: “Dy vs Victor Ortiz, Dy vs Paulie Malignaggi 2, Dy vs Adel Altamimi, are all possibilities. What’s beautiful about that is we’re creating our own round robin, our own version of the Four Kings at 154lbs.”
