Jude Bellingham might not be available to play in the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final if England gets past Norway.
‘The Three Lions’ have a massive fixture ahead at Miami Stadium in Miami, Florida, USA.
Jude Bellingham could miss the semi-final due to suspension
Jude Bellingham was absolutely exceptional during England’s showdown with Mexico in the Round of 32. When his country needed a hero, the gifted athlete well and truly stepped up to the plate.
In a masterful performance, Bellingham scored twice in less than 100 seconds to play a huge role in his nation’s 3-2 win at the Azteca Stadium, which is, of course, one of the most difficult grounds to play at in the entire sport.

However, as good as the tournament has gone for him thus far, if he’s not careful, things could go south.
FIFA rules state that yellow cards are wiped after both the group stage and the quarter-finals. However, if a player was booked in the Round of 32 and the Last 16, they would be suspended for the quarter-finals, and if a player is booked for the Round of 32 or the Last 16 and the quarter-finals, they would miss the semi-finals.
Bellingham, who received a yellow against DR Congo, needs to be on his best behaviour and avoid getting booked against Norway. If he does receive a card, then England may have to go toe-to-toe with Argentina without him.
