Harry Kane left fuming after two controversial decisions go against Bayern Munich in the Champions League

Harry Kane was not happy with two refereeing decisions during the second leg of Bayern Munich’s Champions League showdown against Atletico Madrid.

After coming off second best via a score-line of 5-4 during one of the most thrilling matches in footballing history last week, the German side needed to hit the ground running this evening. Alas, that wasn’t the case, with Ousmane Dembele hitting the back of the net after just three minutes to put the 6x Champions on the back foot.

Harry Kane livid over two potential handballs in Champions League semi-final

With a spot in Budapest, Hungary, on the line, Harry Kane is understandably emotional, especially when calls aren’t going the way he believes they should. Firstly, Nuno Mendes, who’d already received a booking earlier in the match, seemingly handled the ball to prevent a Bayern attack.

Subsequently, the referee blew his whistle, with many expecting the official to send the player off. Alas, for the home side, he opted to give a free kick the other way, with the reason being a possible handball against Konrad Laimer, which occurred slightly prior to the first incident.

To then rub salt into the wounds, a ball was blasted from Vitinha seemingly straight into the arm of his teammate, Joao Neves. With his arm lifting up before blocking the clearance. Of course, the Bayern players thought they had another shout.

‘Die Rotten’ stars swarmed the referee, while Vincent Kompany shouted from the sidelines. After a VAR check, the penalty was not given.

At half-time, an angry Kane marched over to the officials and began to mimic the movement of Neves’ arm.
