The Brazilian reminded fans of just how lethal he can really be.

Chelsea made the trip to Craven Cottage tonight intent on doing a number on their London rivals.

And it didn’t take them long to find the back of the net, with Joao Pedro showcasing his class in abundance.

In an absolute dream start for Xabi Alonso, his team produced a moment of magnificence. Cole Palmer beautifully picked out his teammate, who effortlessly lifted the ball over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net after just 31 seconds.

While borderline impossible, if Pedro could’ve kept up that pace, he’d be on track to bag an astonishing 6619 goals this season.

But with the first half now concluded, that idea has already flown by the wayside. However, he’s still on pace to score 76 goals, which would be the most in a Premier League campaign, breaking the record of 36 set by Erling Haaland.

After Josh King found the equaliser for Chelsea in the 23rd minute, it really looked like the Chelsea star could do to find another. Luckily, the pressure was somewhat lifted off his shoulders when Morgan Rogers put the visitors back in front.
