Manchester City and Liverpool want Felix Nmecha

Keen to bolster their squads, both Manchester City and Liverpool are evaluating the possibility of making a move to sign Felix Nmecha.

The German, who has previously played for ‘The Cityzens’ is an extremely talented athlete, renowned for his eye for the perfect pass and fantastic footballing IQ.

And having impressed to such an extent in the Bundesliga, there’s no doubt he could make a huge impact back in the Premier League.

According to German outlet, Fussball News, both clubs sent scouts to watch Nmecha in action during Borussia Dortmund’s comprehensive 3-0 victory against SC Paderborn.

Delivering in abundance, the 25-year-old scored twice after coming off the bench as a substitute.

Since their arrivals at Manchester City and Liverpool respectively, Enzo Maresca and Andoni Iraola have both developed a keen interest in the gifted footballer.

Is Felix Nmecha more likely to sign with Manchester City or Liverpool?

Having brought him through the youth system from 2007-2021, City could have a decent chance of rekindling their relationship with Nmecha, regardless of the fact that he never made a Premier League appearance before joining VfB Stuttgart.

However, if the player fancies a fresh start in England, a move to Anfield could make a great deal more sense, especially considering the reports that claim that the midfielder fits the profile of exactly what Iraola is looking for.
