Michael Olise has received backlash for his conduct during a post-match interview.
In the aftermath of Bayern Munich destroying Bodo/Glimt 5-0, the footballer was ‘rude’ to a reporter.
Michael Olise gives bizarre post-match interview
Michael Olise produced an excellent performance for Bayern Munich in the club’s opening fixture of the 2026/27 Champions League. The Frenchman scored twice and provided an assist.
Having dazzled supporters, most would’ve expected the player to have delivered an incredibly jubilant post-match interview. However, the reality was anything but.
Attempting to give the star his flowers, the reporter asked what it was like to score such a good goal, to which Olise bluntly replied: “I don’t know.”
After being told to elaborate, the athlete answered: “I shoot. And then it goes in, or it doesn’t go in.”
Of course, the journalist pointed out that if it were so easy, everyone would do it, to which Olise snarked: “I’m not the only one that can score a goal. I don’t think so.”
Struggling with what was occurring, the reporter explained: “You’re making it quite hard for me to do an interview. What makes you happy? What makes you laugh?”
Olise fired back with a simple: “Yeah.”
