Who is the highest-paid manager in all of world football?

One manager is bringing home a higher salary than everybody else.

After a rollercoaster summer, in which Spain emerged as FIFA World Cup 2026 champions, fans are thrilled to usher in the latest season of the club game, during which the best gaffers on the planet will utilise their tremendous football IQs to try and outsmart their rivals and win their domestic leagues.

And for doing so, they’ll be very well rewarded financially.

Simone Inzaghi is the highest-paid manager in football

The managerial landscape is constantly evolving.

Prior to the start of the 2026/27 campaign, Pep Guardiola walked away from his role at Manchester City, being replaced by Enzo Maresca. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest have secured the services of Oliver Glasner.

Furthermore, Xabi Alonso has taken over the reins at Chelsea, and Jose Mourinho is back at the helm at Real Madrid.

Of course, all of these managers are making an enormous amount of money for what they’re bringing to their respective European clubs. However, the highest-paid gaffer in the sport actually does his work outside of the dominant continent in club football.

Simone Inzaghi of Al-Hilal is currently making more money than any other manager on the planet. The King’s Cup winner, who also won the Serie A and Coppa Italia during his time in charge at Inter Milan, is making an astonishing €26M (£22,237,020) per year.
