Vladimir Soufal just produced a memorable own goal during England vs Czech Republic.
The European sides are battling it out at Wembley Stadium in London, UK.
Czech Republic star scores outrageous own goal
After securing a 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic last week, England entered tonight’s match against their rivals intent on bagging another big win.
And with so many natural-born finishers in the side, one of them was bound to find the net sooner or later, with Harry Kane scoring his side’s second goal of the half, but while the striker bagged a tremendous finish, it wasn’t nearly as spectacular as the goal that was secured by Vladimir Coufal moments earlier.
Alas, while the right-back put his name in lights, it was for all the wrong reasons, as the Czech player put the ball past his own goalkeeper.
In the 27th minute, Kane sent a cross fizzing across the box. Sadly for England, however, the attempted assist was likely going out of play, in a move set to end in nothing but a goal kick for the visitors.
But luckily for ‘The Three Lions’, Coufal dived in with his left foot, connecting with the ball with thunderous power to send it sailing into the back of the net.
