Carlos Baleba wasn’t overjoyed with the performance Manchester United produced against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Premier League giants crashed out of the Carabao Cup after suffering a 3-2 loss at the hands of ‘The Seagulls’.

Carlos Baleba was in attendance during Manchester United’s humiliating loss against Brighton and Hove Albion.

It couldn’t have been a better start for the home side, with fans at Old Trafford rejoicing as the side went 2-0 up within the first ten minutes.

However, right before half-time, they switched off, allowing Charalampos Kostoulas to pull one back.

Then, in the second half, Pascal Groß found the equaliser before Maxim De Cuyper rendered United supporters devastated by bagging the winner for the visitors.

Baleba, who witnessed his old team triumph over his new one, was captured during the match on his phone rather than watching the game.

Of course, fans were quick to head to social media, with many joking about the situation.

One said: “He’s on the phone to his agent to get his United contract terminated,” while another added: “Carlos Baleba is probably wondering why he decided to leave Brighton for Manchester United.”

A third wrote: “Carlos Baleba is definitely regretting his life decisions.”

Feeling sorry for the player, a fourth posted: “Carlos Baleba is on his phone asking if he can actually get the bus home with the Brighton team tonight.”
