Jude Bellingham was not pleased with what Thomas Tuchel had to say following Norway vs England.
‘The Three Lions’ bounced back from behind to win 2-1 at Miami Stadium in Miami, Florida, USA.
Jude Bellingham dismissed Thomas Tuchel’s concerns
Going into the FIFA World Cup 2026 clash between Norway and England, the 1966 champions were considered the favourites. However, the Nordic nation certainly didn’t make it easy for them.
In a stunning moment, Andreas Schjelderup scored a goal that left Harry Kane furious. But rather than give up, Thomas Tuchel’s side quickly bounced back, with Jude Bellingham bagging the equaliser.
After a tense second half, the game went to extra time, where the Real Madrid star stepped up to the plate. Bellingham scored his second goal to secure England a place in the semi-final. However, despite his positive performance, the manager wasn’t happy.
During his post-match interview, Tuchel said: “We made life very difficult for ourselves today. The result is fantastic, but I’m not happy with the performance.”
When he received the opportunity to chat with Bellingham, Gabriel Clarke informed the natural-born goal scorer of what his head coach had said, to which he replied: “Yeah, well, whatever. It’s difficult out there. It’s a tough shift. All the players put in a very tough shift. My thoughts and appreciation go out to the players who put in a great shift yet again.”
