Adel Altamimi reveals message from Chris Pratt
Adel Altamimi is one of the most revered bare-knuckle fighters on the planet, with the warrior renowned for his ferocious hands and awe-inspiring powers of self-belief.
However, on Saturday, his opponent gave him all he could handle. Despite the odds, Mowbray entered the bout believing he had the skills to upset the apple cart. And when he sent the favourite crashing towards the canvas with a powerful blow during the opening round, it very much looked like the crowd were about to witness a monumental upset.

Altamimi bravely rose to his feet, but was quickly sent hurtling out of the ring when another devastating punch connected on his jaw.
While the end looked nigh, the Iraqi refused to give in, battling back, dropping his opponent on several occasions en route to claiming a second-round stoppage.
After the fight, during an exclusive interview with Sporf, he revealed the good-luck message Chris Pratt had sent him just before he walked into battle. It read: “Praying for you, my brother, I’ll be watching. Go out there, fight valiantly, God has you.”
Adel Altamimi could fight Victor Ortiz
After such a dramatic victory at the weekend, there are plenty of options out there for Altamimi, including Victor Ortiz.
If ‘Vicious’ can get through his upcoming clash with Paulie Malignaggi, then the man, who once shared the ring with Floyd Mayweather could have an almighty challenge on his hands.
Altamimi enthused: “I have a lot of respect for Victor, but it doesn’t matter who they put in front of me in the Trigon; I always deliver. It would be a privilege to fight Victor. We train together; he’s a very good friend of mine, we share a lot of respect. But if it’s there in the future, it would be an honour.”
